01Account & sign-up
How do I get started?▾
Click Try For Free, sign in with email or a social provider, and the studio is yours. You get 20 free credits on first sign-in — enough to generate ~20 images or 4 short videos.
Do I need to enter a credit card to try it?▾
No. The signup bonus credits are granted automatically; you only need a payment method when you decide to buy more credits or subscribe.
Can I delete my account and the generations I made?▾
Yes. Email videogenhelp@gmail.com from the address on the account and we’ll erase the user row and the associated generations within a few business days.
02Credits & pricing
How does the credit system work?▾
Every generation costs a fixed number of credits depending on the model — see the live table on the Models page. We deduct the credits when the job is submitted; if the generation fails, the credits are automatically refunded in the same database transaction as the failure.
What do credit packs cost?▾
- Starter — $10 for 1,000 credits
- Pro — $40 for 5,000 credits (20% off)
- Business — $120 for 20,000 credits (40% off)
What about subscriptions?▾
- Starter monthly — $10/mo for 1,500 credits per month
- Pro monthly — $30/mo for 6,000 credits per month
- Subscriptions auto-refill on the renewal day; you can cancel any time from your account page and keep the credits through the end of the paid period.
Do credits expire?▾
Credits from credit packs don’t expire. Credits granted by a monthly subscription roll into the same balance and stay usable, but a cancelled subscription no longer adds new credits.
03How generation works
How long does a generation take?▾
- Images on Flux Schnell: typically under 10 seconds.
- Image-to-image on Flux Kontext: 15–30 seconds.
- Videos on WAN 2.2: 60–180 seconds depending on duration.
- The studio shows live status (queued → running → succeeded) and auto-refreshes when it finishes.
What if a generation fails?▾
The credits are refunded automatically. You can also cancel a job that’s still queued or running — that immediately stops the vendor side and refunds the credits.
Can I rerun a previous generation?▾
Yes. Open the generation in your Library and hit Re-run — the model, prompt, and parameters get pre-filled in the studio. You’ll need to re-upload any source image because the signed URL we sent the vendor expires.
Do you store the images and videos I create?▾
Yes — we mirror every successful output to our own object storage so the URL stays usable after the vendor’s temporary URL expires. They’re visible only to you in your Library. We don’t use your generations to train models.
04Models
Which models are live right now?▾
The Models page renders directly from the production manifest, so it’s always current. As of now we ship:
- Flux Schnell — fast text-to-image
- Flux Kontext — image-to-image edits
- WAN 2.2 — image-to-video
Will you add more models?▾
Yes. New WaveSpeed models land via a manifest row, so we don’t need a frontend release to ship one. Follow /models — when a new card shows up, it’s ready to use.
05Refunds & cancellation
Can I get a refund?▾
Yes — there’s a 30-day money-back guarantee on every paid subscription and credit pack. See the Refund Policy for the full details.
How do I cancel my subscription?▾
From Account, click Cancel subscription. It stops the next renewal — you keep your credits and access until the end of the period you already paid for. No follow-up email needed.
06Templates
What are templates?▾
Templates are hand-tuned prompt + model presets. Pick one on the Templates page and you land in the Studio with the prompt and the right model already loaded. Tweak from there — they’re starting points, not locked recipes.
Can I save my own templates?▾
Not yet. Today the catalogue is a small hand-curated list. Saving your own templates lands when we move templates from an in-app list to a DB-backed library. For now, the fastest way to re-run a generation you liked is Remix from your Library — it re-opens the Studio with the original model, prompt, and params already filled in.
07Privacy & safety
Are my prompts and uploads kept private?▾
Generations live in your private workspace by default. We do not use your prompts or uploads to train shared models without your explicit opt-in. Read the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
What is VideoGen's policy on deepfakes?▾
We allow creative use of likenesses with consent — for example, a friend wanting to be in your video. We prohibit non-consensual sexual deepfakes, deceptive political deepfakes, and depictions of minors in sexual contexts. Full details are on the Acceptable Use Policy.
